The present is not the past and it is not the future.
The present is the present moment.
The present is right now.
You might have had difficulties in your work and you're Stressed by your work. As an employee, you might not enjoy your life and work as much as you used to.
When you're fully engaged in what you are doing, your mind doesn't wander. You enjoy life. And you're happier and more effective.
You are intent only on what is happening at that moment, that focus and concentration leads to success.
Do not dwell in the past. If you made a mistake in the past, learn from it and just move on.
People tend to concentrate so much on what happened in the past, that they refuse to let it go.
Only when you let it go, that's only when you'll progress.
I know it's hard to forget the past if you haven't learned from it. As soon as you learn and let go, you improve yourself and you make yourself better.
Even in the most difficult situations, when you focus on what is Right in the present moment,
It makes you happier today.
It gives you the needed energy and confidence to deal with what is wrong.
Just focus on the present moment and not the past. You can compare between the past and make out what went wrong. After, knowing what went wrong, make it right by changing it and doing what is right.
Look at how you feel about the past and learn something valuable from it.
Being in the present means turning out distractions and paying attention to what is important now.
You create your own present by what you give your attention to today.
