I recall very well,
The life we used to live
We used to live happily together with my parents
Everything I wished for, was provided with
By that time, I was still young

Mother, father be aware, for there is changes in life.

As time goes by
Day by day
Changes started coming into our home
My father changed and became a "DDO"
Daily drinking officer.
coming home late, taking alcohol and sleeping out.

Father, mother, be aware, for there is changes in life.

As time went by,
I was chased out of school because of school fees
Food and clothing was a problem to us.
My mother could not afford food less pay our school fees.

Mother, father be aware for there is changes in life
